how to fix picture on samsung 26" LE26R7 lcd tv?

over the past few days my tv has developed coloured vertical lines about a centimetre apart along across the screen,the lines are present when watching all tv channels and also watching DVDs so is not a signal problem.they are permanent.I know dead pixels leave a black line but these are not black so how can it be fixed?

Please try pushing your scart lead on both sides but see that you do not push too hard, enough to see that they are inside the units enough to get right picture.

If this does not give you right picture then change the scart lead and see this might solve your problem.

I have a similar problem but my lines are horizontal - I think it my be something to do with the scart sockets?? as my line disappear if im using my xbox which doesn't use a scart lead
