New Home Memory Craft 6000 sewing machine?

How do I access the light bulb to change it on this machine? thankyou

After not ussing for a while my 6000 does not sew. The stitch pattrern doesn'come up in the window, so the foot doesn't progress the material. the no.10 does fleetingly appear when I change the programme but doesn't stay - it's thre just for the blink of an eye. All the lighting on it works. Any ideas please? Best wishes, Eileen

open front flap which shows a diagram of how to thread the machine, you will notice one screw in the face. remove this and the front cover will come off revealing the bulb. unscrew the bulb and refit the new bulb. then replace the front cover. dont forget to ensure that the machine is unplugged before attempting this procedure. hope this is of help.

If the bulb is fitted into the body of the machine you may need to take the body apart.
