The washing does not smell nice when the cycle has finished.
Regularly clean the filter and conditioner drawer and always wipe around seals after every wash.
The pipes seem to be draining in the right direction.
I had trouble with mine doing the same, but the water jets for the fabric softener were blocked, and I was always left with softener in the tray, I just used pipe cleaners to clean all the jets, and now its all good =]

have you done the maintenance boil wash regular to stop this happening.Low temp washing is great for clothes and enviroment but will make the washer smell bad.once at this stage there isn't alot that will shift it !!!
