Beko 71642s will not reset?

I have a Beko WMB 71642s washing machine that seems to have stucked mid cycle. I have held down the start/pause button to reset program but nothing has happened. At the moment it is half filled with water and will start to smell soon. Any ideas on how to reset it??

pull the plastic plinth off at the bottom of the machine and then drain and remove the filter to get water out.check that the drain pump impeller rotates freely once filter removed
