Mend Renault Kangoo Loud Noise Louder

loud knocking noise from engine ,reving it gets louder ,starts perfect, no loss of power sounds like fly wheel knocking , have been told it could be big end gone ,but no oil loss or warning lights on any idea's

cheers for that , have been told by reno mechanic its the big end ,as its done 180 k not sure its worth repairing and not worth the 1500 to have it done, 03 plate prob worth 1800 if im lucky

you could remove fan belt and that will rule out a few things, if the noise is still there,try pressing clutch pedal if it gets a bit quieter that may point to your flywheel,if still there you may be looking at a sump removal for inspection
