what is the problem with my beko wm8127s?

My washing machine has started to make a very loud noise when its turning after the water has been put in, like a loud continuous noise like the sound of someone hanging the phone up on you, but much much louder, the techinician came out and said def not the bearings or pump, but said it needs a new motor? that its the turning part of the motor thats broken not the pumping ?
