How can I fix the keypad on my Audioline FF988 cordless phone?

How can I fix the keypad on my Audioline FF988 cordless phone? The keypad/talk buttons have become difficult to press. Each time I try and make a call, I have to press the buttons extremely hard for them to work.

I posted on my blog a while back how I fixed my brother-in-laws cordless phone. Go to:
