My system has reported a fault and it comes up with Sr. I have changed the battery, and the internal alarm buzzes continuously. When I press any buttons on the keypad, it doesn't respond just conyinues to buzz. Any ideas on how to reset the system?
a builder disconnected my modern alarms series 3200.
I am having it re connected but don't know how to reset the code .can anyone help?

Perhaps it is just because I like the whole truth not a part truth.
ADT inherited the 'Series' panels from Modern Alarms. the 3200 would not have been installed by ADT.
I think 22yrs ago would be nearer the mark.
The MA (not ADT), 3200 was the Scantronic 9800 panel, not the keypad for the 9800+

Ive got a box of them Mr Acorn, The reason why i mentioned ADT is because the transition period was some 15 years ago. Customers, most wont remember Modern Alarms

No they did not, the 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 4500, 6000 etc Series came about in the Modern Alarms days, long before they were taken over by American District Telegraph

Firstly well done for providing good information about your alarm. Because ADT are a huge probably very expensive company[Have to be careful what i say} What you actually have is a Scantronic 9800+ ADT had it re-branded by Scantronic because ADT dosent want to be like everyone else.
To resolve your problem you will need to phone me because i cannot type an engineer reset code on here.
