Mend Scantronic 9600 Alarm Panel Tamper

9600 scantronic?

I have a 9600 house alarm and the alarm keeps going off, the control panel reads kitchen tamper reset required. After I've reset it after about 20mins it goes off again. Is it possible to omit this zone altogether so we can all get some peace and quite and my nieghbours stop hating me? Many Thanks

Fixing the problem would be best.
Or link out the tamper to that zone so the alarm circuit still works. Otherwise you need the engineer code and a manual to delete the zone permentantly. If you dont know what you are doing with that you could make some serious errors and have an alarm that does nothing!
