Mend Sears 26HP Mower Ideas Wrong

My Riding mower is stalling out any ideas of what is wrong?

I have a Sears 26HP riding mower. It has always run great as long a used high octatane gas. I accidenttly put in regular gas and now it stalls out and won't stay running but a min or so. I added octane booster and then added 81 grade gas. But it is still having thr problem. I would drain the gas but it doesn't look klike it would be an easy task. Any suggestions.

You need to drain the fuel, even if it means removing the tank to do so, also drain the carb float bowl by looseing the bottom bolt, you can drain the tank like this but it will take a long time.
