yeah your saftey switch on the seat is shorting out or just push the clutch in and out 100 times the saftey switch might be faulty

I agree. Mine did the exact same thing and it was the safety switch under the seat. Not that I am saying to leave it this way, but you can unplug the switch and jump a wire back into the plug to see if that is the problem. If that is not it, you could check your mower engage safety switch also.

That sounds like a faulty safety switch.
Check the switch under the seat to be sure it's depressing when there is weight on the seat. Or it could be the clutch/brake switch. Tracing down the bad one can be challanging.
