How can I fix my Murray 38" 12.5 hp mower?

My Murray runs good until I let the clutch out. In or out of gear. Any ideas whats wrong?

There is a safety switch located on the clutch pivot, which is probably defective. Remove and Replace it...
Also look for bad wiring going to ground...
