Flymo Quiksilver 46S petrol mower dies after start?

Hi i recently bought above mower and worked fine twice. Now when i start it up, it dies after a second or so.. any ideas whats wrong ? I have full tank of petrol (with additive), oil level is fine and i've tried starting, after priming between 2 and 8 times. Have also tried after a weeks break.. so any suggestions please????

Answer : took to a repair centre and there was a problem with the carburetor. luckily repaired free under warrenty.

just thought, i had the same problem before adding the additive.. so its not that, any other suggestions ???

I've added the stuff you get when you buy a mower, a small bottle you add to 5l of fuel, it says on the bottle, to help starting and running your mower. I've put about a third of it into the tank (2l of fuel).
I'll try draining at the weekend.

What, and how much additive have you put in the fuel, i would drain out and put straight fuel in and try again
