my washing maching will not spin ,the drum is just rocking back and forward when its ment to be spinning,i checked the belt ,and there is black belt dust around the motor and drive wheel.but the drum works both way on the rest of the cycle
I think the problem may be with the brushes which is quite an inexpensive repair. At least, that was the problem when my machine refused to spin. Of course it may be the motor failing......sorry, maybe haven't really helped.
