Mend Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine Grinding Noise

How do you remove a motor from a Fisher & Paykel washing machine?

Grinding noise when drum spins, I believe the motor is shot, nned to pull it off and replace it.

To start with what model are you asking about? If you are talking about a top loader smartdrive then your assumption is wrong. The smartdrive motor does not have bearings & does not turn so cannot be making a grinding noise. The shaft for the agitator turns inside 2 bearings and the noise is probably coming from them. But I need a model number first.
