Mend Brother Futura 250 Machine Straight Stitch Needle

How do I fix the timing on futura 250?

I have had my futura 250 less than a week. After embroidering, my machine will only sew a straight stitch. The needle will move in a zigzag motion but does not produce one. Can you SHOWas well as EXPLAIN how to do this. I am very frustrated.
