Mend C&K 800L Security Alarm Control Panel

securitech 800L - the control panel (co23) is dead?

We recently had a power cut and the alarm sounded for 20mins. After the power cut was over I noticed that the control panel had no lights showing. When i try to tap in the code to reset, there is a beep for each key press but i'm not able to set the alarm. The any system is a C&K Securitech 800L with a CO23 panel.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

At last a solution, many thanks Mixc as have spent ages on the net and beginning to tear hair out - we had incessant buzz from keypad, keys not responding and all caused from a powercut earlier. Followed yr instructions - sorted. Huge thanks, what a relief!

To reset after mains power disconected..
No mains-lamp illuminated..
No day-lamp illuminated..
Switch off mains..
Remove fuse on PCB installed to metal case
Replace fuse on PCB installed to metal case
Switch on mains..
Noise from keypad. tamper, day, and mains-lamps all lit..
Input user code then # (????#)
All fixed :o)

I sorted it!!!!

turned off the power, opened the metal control box (in loft) and removed the fuse.

this tripped the tamper on the alarm and all i had to do was put the fuse back, screw the door back on and reset the alarm on the control panel at the door!

p.s. I have 2 panels one in the hall and one in the garage. Both light up and beep when pressing the keys but cannotset the alarm and none of the control lights (mains, tamper etc) are lit up.
