Mend Singer 4532 Sewing Machine Needle

The bobbin case on my Singer Model #4532 keeps popping out ?

The bobbin case won't stay in the machine, there doesn't seem to be anything to hold it in place, as soon as I wind the needle down to draw up the bobbin thread it jumps out again

Hello Samantha,
If you have the black bobbin case there should be a small silver clip that you push over to hold it in.
