Mend Singer 638 Sewing Machine Instructions

timing Singer 638?

My needle misses the slot in the disk under the bobbin when in the down position. I believe I may need to set timing.
I would like to know how to set the timing on this Sewing machine, Singer Touch & Sew 638. Could someone send me explicit instructions.
