when i power up and press start the speedo is stuck on 25.9 and wont clear! it starts to move as normal and speeds up . i cant slow it down , all i can do is press stop or pull the safety magnet off. any advice would be very grateful . I cant find a dynamix website for any tech help

It looks like its a software based fault and the microprocessor needa to be reset. Note this fix may not work in every case. Open up the controller and remove the small screws holding the control pcb in place then with a screwdriver gently prise the forty pin control chip from its socket with the power switched off. Then switch the power on and reinsert the chip and remove repeatedly until and error message is seen on the screen. Switch off the power for at least 10 seconds and it should function normally. Note the chip needs to be put back in the same orientaion it went in.

Sounds like the lead has been pinched under the upright, causing a break in the wires. We had a problem as the display kept showing error in the display window. On further inspection we found that the previous owner had almost cut through the wires where the lead had got pinched. Hubby repaired the wiring and all the problems are resolved.
