Mend BMW K100RS Start Replaced Solenoid

K100RS 84 wont start?

I replaced the starter motor solenoid because it was stuck and the bike was trying to start even with the keys in my pocket. Now when I press ignition the fuel pump runs but starter not engaging. Crossed terminals and it starts or at least tries to.

sorry, i dont have an answer for you,but i have a similar problem on a 04 gsxr 750. did you find the problem? if so could you tell me?
