How can I fix my AMCOR D-265LA dehumidifier?

Following a very cold spell my AMCOR D-265LA dehumidifier is discharging water from all over the place, eg round the edges of the cabinet, instead of from the central outlet hose and into the collection can. How can I get to the area above the outlet hose to see what has gone wrong? The cabinet does not readily come apart when all visible screws are removed.

If you pull the water tank forward and check the pipe where the water drops down from, sometimes it is clogged with fluff. Clear that with a pair of tweezers or pipe cleaner and it should sort itself out.
