, thats a good idea power down the panel then power back up by battery first then by mains enter your code screw on the lid and then try reset if this works then fab if your panel does not accept your code it could reset like you said try 0123 9999 but you shouldnt have this problem get back to me if it works for u death

I get no response from pressing reset. I am wondering that if I power the whole system down including disconnecting the battery and the repower it back up, will this then reset the problem. I know I may have to re-programme but that doesn't seem to difficult?

you may have tamper welll obviously check the lid is screwed tight on the main panel and keypad press reset on the keypad if the tamper light still stays on then check the sensors are working check the bell box lid and it is lighting up etc if still this dosent work then open the main panel and check all the fuses but remember keep trying reset on the keypad to see if u have resolved it if this dosent work for you get back to me on thsi website thanks death
