Mend Accenta Lights Light Working

Accenta keypad key lights on,power light off,keypad not working?

My wife was painting inside a cupboard and touched 2 cables,the alarm went off, tried to enter code but no effect, touched the 2 wires again and the alarm stopped. I can not do anything on the keypad its frozen. 3fuses together and one marked keypad are all ok inside main alarm control.The keys on the keypad are lit but power light is off,there is 14vdc inside the keypad .We have had a tamper light flashing for about 5 years , even that is off now..... HELP

At the very least your battery is dead and is causing problems.

Control panels don't like dead batts.
