Mend GHD Light Beeps Start

How to fix GHD?

Ghd light comes on but no heat comes to the plates? What could be wrong? The light comes on and beeps as normal at the start but will not heat up at all. I fear i may have dropped it.

There are unfortunately MANY fake GHDs out there. firstly check the hologram code with GHD website or number on the plug lead...is it a genuine set? If not...try to get your money back if your gift has a receipt. One other way to tell if fake is to look at wee booklet...are there any silly spelling errors or do words 'run' togetherlike this? Best to try to take back to store...if they are not e-Bay fakes. Good luck!
