how to fix tension on brother BC-2500 machine?

How do I fix the tension of the machine. I threaded the machine but the top stitching is pulling and I checked to see if I threaded it correctly.It's a Brother BC-2500 machine.The cotton was quite tight. What do I do?

Hello Madge,
If the top stitching is pulling out it is probably the bottom tension too loose, make sure the bobbin is in the correct way round. turn the screw on the bobbin case clockwise to tighten the tension but only about a quarter of a turn at a time and test.
