Threading and tension settings ?

Hello Jody,
To thread the top, cotton reel on the spool pin, make sure the presser foot is up and the takeup lever at the top, take the thread from the cotton reel to the left and in the guide on the top above the tension unit, take the thread down the right hand side and go round the tension unit and back up the left side to the takeup lever, thread through the takeup lever right to left, take the thread all the way down to the needle going through any guides on the way, thread the needle left to right, the flat side of the needle must face right, top tension about number 5, an instruction book is available for that model and I can give you the site but you will have to email me, this site no longer allows email addresses to be shown but type in my address below as you say it not as you read it. make sure you remind me of your question if you email me.
