Mend Maytag MAV6000AWW Switch Control Washer

I want to replace switch and analog temp control?

I own a Maytag Washer model MAV6000AWW that does not perform cold water washes anymore. I purchased a new switch (4 button) and analog temp control (circuit board) from Maytag and want advise on the best way to replace them.

Hi, If the cold valve was plugged are not working there would be NO water flow when the COLD button was pushed!!!

jess, did you check your fill/water valve, this is normally the problem. If cold water is filling slow than its your fill valve, check for voltage at the valve using a DMM(Digital Multimeter). Disconnect cold water line and check for a clogged. If you have voltage than you fill valve is bad. good luck
