Control panel not working on Zanussi washer dryer zwd 1471s?

I had pressed the skip/reset button there was a flash of light and a bang from the top right had corner of the machine. The orange led on the on/off switch comes on but nothing else now. Can u tell me what the problem could be I a bit worried the main board could of gone and wonder whether it is worth getting an engineer out.

In all honesty if it flashed you can more or less say the board will of failed.might well be a faulty door lock which has blown the main pcb when it tried to start and lock the door.this is a common issue and very expensive.expect to end up with a £200 bill if you do call someone in and to be honest a lot of people/repairers will not be able to mend this type of fault so be warned!!!
