Janome sewing machine froze?

My janome 6500 has frozen! The machine started making a sound like it was dry, needed oil,then the the wheel just stuck!...the bobbin is fine,no thread nest there...in the display window is ...BM phase error... PEASE HELP!

Hello Maggie,
Definitely check the raceway area again, if you are absolutely certain it is clear then you may have a serious problem with a seized machine which will mean a shop repair.
