fo0rd fiesta p reg 1.25 engine keeps losing power while driving fully serviced ,changed cam belt, new head gasket, runs fine eccept for intermitent power loss, also just started resently engine revs on by itself without ecceleration
this kept happening to me until the other day when my back box blew up and forced me to have a brand new exhaust system put in works fine now also p reg 1.25 fiesta

I also have a problem with fiesta losing power. It doesn't happen all the time but frequently. Took it to ford and they put it on the diagnostic fault reader twice and they are still unable to find the fault. Its driving me crazy. The car is only two years old and has very low mileage.

im stumped by the same thing it drives fine slowly but you accelerate harder an u just get revs no drive!

I just bought a P reg Ford Fiesta Ghia to go back and forth to work in. Drives great but not the fuel economy I was hoping for. Any ideas as to how to imporve the fuel economy?

I have the exact same problem with my fiesta - p reg and it is absolutely useless it randomly revs itself without touching any pedals! And the clutch is riding badly the pedal is not completely disengaging the clutch it's ridiculous methinks it's time to sell the car!
