I have a 51 reg ford transit had from new and if left for more than 5 hours it becomes really hard to start.Battery very good but have to turn over for ages.
Once running goes fine and starts straight away.Has no glow plugs in this engine
My 02 plate ford tranait 350 90 hp is really bad at starting

hi i have a 02 transit tipper 2.4 diesal it starts ok but then cuts off and glow plug light flashes on and of any ideas ? its a rear wheel drive vechile

it sounds as if you may be getting air into the fuel system,you didnt say what engine you have here or fwd/rwd,would check your fuel piping in and around the engine bay and if the filters havent been done for a while would try changing them
