what do i check next - engine cutting out?

when my 55reg renault trafic bus 8 seater when warmed up the engine cuts out and the anty skid singn come on then sign saying water in fuel or electric fault when i hit pot hole or juntions or humps seems like when cold ok when hot i get a smell like burning and i cant get started tried to start but not i get thisburning smell i tried starten it wounder if it could be caterlistec burning new clutch another gearbox ecu valve sick of spending on it any ideas please
