Mend Ford Transit 280 Gear Problems Problem

gear problems?

I have a problem getting 2nd gear and reverse gear but 2nd gear only struggles when the engine is cold, once its warmed up it isnt a problem. Can anyone tell me why this happens. By the way its a ford transit fwd 280 y reg
