Mend Citroen Saxo VTR Ignition

warning light has appeared on citreon saxo vtr?

i've just noticed that a warning light has appeared that looks simular to a hose. it normally appears when i put the key in the ignition prior to starting. any ideas on what this could be, any advise would be much appreciated.
