key light flashing on dash?

cleaned the engine of my 51 reg 1.1 saxo after that the car wouldnt start, got told that there was water in my e.c.u, so changed my e.c.u and the ignition barrel now i have the orange key light flashing on the dash and it still want start
please help lol

put it back as it was check plug holes are not full of water by removing coil pack or plug caps.blow out plug holes and wd 40 them. leave to dry out ecu if damp in sun or with space heater gently blowing on car.the key flashing means the ecu does not match the key and will immobalise it
