touchpad on hp laptop only works by right clicking how do i fix problem

Can you do another system restore?
Or
Open My computer,
right click c:drive & open properties,
click tools tab, in error checking click check now button, in new box tick "automatically fix file system errors", tick "Scan for and atempt recovery of bad sectors", click on start.
This may fix the error, if not borrow a system disk & do a system repair, some programs may need reinstalling after doing this.
