Our Hoover New Wave 1100 is faulty, basically it fills and goes through full cycle without drum turning. It pumps empty at the end. The drum motor does not run for wasing or spinning in any cycle and there are no error messages displayed. Hope someone can give me some advice.
Thanks Johnny, had motor off, brushes look good, moving freely, springs OK but still no joy. Don't know how to test run motor on the bench. Checked pressure switch and contacts open and close if I blow down tube. Any more ideas?
