Mend Singer 2001 Sewing Machine Perfectly

Singer Touch-Tronic 2001 has Dementia?

When I first turn on my Singer 2001 sewing machine it does all the selected stitches perfectly. After it has warmed up just a few minutes, it goes crazy and only does the stitches it wants to do. I have no control. I can turn the machine off and let it set and cool for a while, turn it back on and it works perfectly again for a few minutes. What is wrong?

You have a problem with one of the circuit boards and the only way to fix it is to take it in for repair.
