new home 580 sewing machine?

Worked perfectly last time I put it away. Now it is jammed in the mechanical mechanism. Motor works fine.

Hello Alison,
Undo the needle clamp so the needle comes out then force the machine backwards and clean out any yjread that may be jammed also.
