Mend Necchi 584 Pedal Cable Fitted

How do I rewire a new foot pedal to my Necchi Silvia multimatic 584?

My existing foot pedal cable is fitted with a two pin plug should I cut the plug off bear the two wires, fit the supply terminal spades and connect to the two free terminals. The terminals are not marked so will it matter which way round the wires are fitted - how do I tell?

Hello Deborah,
If you have a lead that connects into the Necchi foot control and you have a new foot control that has to be wired in, you can cut the wires and connect them to the teriminals, it does not matter which way round they go.
