I have a Bosch S190b dishwasher. When I start a program it runs for a few seconds (drain pump runs), then "check water" fault lights. It seems that it is not taking in water. I replaced the water intake solenoid valve at the back but it made no difference. Any suggestions?
I have new Bosch diswasher. I hooked up a stainless Watts floodsafe compression connector. I turn on the diswasher. It goes into drain mode but water never enters the machine. I turned the diswasher on its side to see if any water enters the machine connection elbow. No water is being taking in what so ever. There is a small electrical component on the life side of the machine with two small wires connected to it. Does this electrical part control the intake? It that the impellar jug? Could that be the source my problem?

sounds like impeller jug fault. take off left side panel, bottom left hand side a white plastic circular device with 2 hoses on (one is blue) and a tiny wiring block. this job can be a bit fiddley but should cost about £20 or less for part. common fault. enjoy :-)
