Mend Morphy Richards 43057 Couple Years Appears

How can I fix my leaking Morphy Richards 43057 kettle?

It's a couple of years old. The leak appears to be around the water level gauge

I have the same problem with a M-R Europa kettle. It isn't very pretty but Sugru works. It is a kind of putty adhesive that can be molded over the leak and it appears to be safe and not harmed by the temperature fluctuations. The downside is that it hides the water gauge. My first repair has lasted about 3 years but now the second side is leaking.
