Does anyone have a problem with their intruder alarm?
Ours was fitted 4 years ago and we have never had any problems until the really cold weather this week.
When it gets to below freezing the box on the wall outside beeps every couple of minutes, and seems worse the colder it gets!
During the day when the sun has eventually warmed it up, it stops(?).
Have rung the company who fitted it so if they are any wiser than me i will post it on here!
There are no faults on the display so cannot see whats wrong.
There appears to be no problems internally-just the box outside.

i dont use texecom bell boxes or panels,i tend to stick to the units that have served us well,not like other companies who flick to the cheapest they can find,
as i would say,if it aint broke,dont fix it:-) sorry if i hurt your delicate feelings,:-)

Oi Oi GTS, i use the NovaGard 4 all the time, brilliant Bell box. Texecom may well make great panels, But their bell boxes are a pile of junk, could also be one of them

You have a Risco external sounder and there was a fault on them ( Earlier ones). When very cold it "chirps". You will either have to put up with it, get it changed, or get someone who knows the fix for this.
Basically you have to alter the tracks on the PCB.
A local company registered with Risco will have access to the fix. Obviously yours are not!
