Mend Sabre HE29 Boiler Heating Intermittent

Sabre he29?

The hot water is intermittent. It stays hot for a couple of mins and then cuts out for about 20 seconds before continuing the cycle. the green light goes out during the cold periods. The heating appears to be ok. Does anyone have any ideas. The boiler is about 5 years old. This is becomming unbearable at shower time.
