Mend Bedford TK 330 Diesel Engine Timing

Bedfod tk engine timing?

I've got a bedford tk 330 n/a which chuffs out white smoke when reved. i checked the timing as in manual but pump is fully adjusted where it bolts to compressor, is it possible to move the pump on the splined shaft or has it got a master spline?could there be another reason for this smoke?

White smoke = engine gubbed - recon required
