Toshiba Model 57H81 PICTURE MODULE?

Someone is willing to give me a TV...and told me that the repair man said it needed a Picture Module..but NO longer avaiable....is this true for that model? or if it can be bought...where and how cheap..and can I do it myself to replace with no difficulty? I'd love to have the 57 inch TV with as little cost as possible..He claims he bought at Best Buy in Nov of 2001....or don't they hold up go enough to try to fix....I have had TV last alot longer then jus a few years....What is the best TV out in the market now days anyway?
