How do I make the picture on my 32" Toshiba TV brighter?

The picture on my Toshiba 32" TV keeps getting darker. If you watch a program that was made outside at night, forget it. The brightness adjustment is as high as it will go. Model #32A33

Not sure if you still need an answer. I have the same TV and the same problem. Several suggestions I have received have been to check the flyback transformer. Hope this helps. I'm in the process now if checking mine. If you fixed yours please post what worked.
