Mend Polaroid PDV-0700 Play Player Open

How do I repair my Polaroid PDV-0700?

When I try to play a DVD in the player (Polaroid PDV-0700) it says that the door is open when it is not. How can I get it to recognize the door is closed and play the DVD?

After you pop the door open with the button on front, lift the door gently far up as possible. You will see a white button on the upper right of the DVD spin area. Press down on that button several times to make sure it is not stuck in any one position. Then try to play a movie. If the problem still persist, it is probably a bad switch inside, that will have to be replaced.
