Mend Years Spin Cycle

washing machine?

My washer is only 2 years old and checked out recently by a repairman. The spin cycle is working fine, belt was even tightened. The laundry is wet when cycle is done. Is it possible that water is "backing up" into tub? Can you explain how this could happen?
